Wednesday, 3rd June, 2015 goes down as a dark day in the annals of our dear nation Ghana. Ghana People's Organisation remain totally shocked and share in the pain of all who lost their loved ones and property during the floods and the unfortunate fire gutting incident near the Kwame Nkrumah Circle and its surrounding area.
To commiserate with the victims of the deadly flood and gas station explosion,the leadership of GPO has directed that a three hour silence be observed on all its chat platforms from 3:00pm-6:00pm on Saturday,June 6th 2015.
The leadership of Ghana People's Organisation wish to call on government to as a matter of urgency to ensure, that state institutions with specifically assigned roles perform independently to achieve desirable results and outcomes to forestall such calamities in the future.
Our hearts go out to all the bereaved families and the entire people of Ghana.God bless us all.
