The Chairman of Ghana People's Organization GPO,Daniel Adu Gyamfi has left the shores of China for a 21-day tour of some countries in Africa.
The tour will see him visit five countries, namely Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania and Zimbabwe, where he is scheduled to meet government officials,stakeholders and members of the GPO branches.
In Ghana, the first country of the tour, he will attend functions organised by GPO Ghana branch, as well as travel to Tema to have discussions with Port authorities.Daniel Adu Gyamfi will also travel to Kumasi to pay a courtesy call on the King of the Asante Kingdom Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II to discuss the activities of GPO and investment opportunities in the region
Whilst in the other countries, Daniel Adu Gyamfi will pay a working visit to some chocolate factories,cereal processing plants,biomass plants, where he will see at first hand the operations and management of such facilities, and also have discussions with experts and stakeholders in the petrochemical industries, he is also expected to make a presentation on Ghana's developmental strategies from the GPO perspective.
This tour is to afford the Chairman of Ghana People's Organization GPO,Daniel Adu Gyamfi the opportunity to meet other development oriented African youth and leaders to share ideas and establish a league of problem solvers.
He will be accompanied on the trip by his Personal Assistant, Press Secretary and, the Director of International Relations of GPO.
Daniel Adu Gyamfi and his team will return to China on Monday, June 22, 2015.
