As part of his tour of some African countries,the chairman of Ghana People's Organization GPO Daniel Adu Gyamfi,on Tuesday, June, 2015, met briefly with the director of Tema Port at the instance of the Ghana Ports and Harbor Authority.
The two leaders in a discussion touched on the current expansion work going on at the port and pragmatic measures being put in place to ensure effective running of the port.
On his part,the chairman of GPO recounted his cherished dream of making the Team port the most preferred port in Africa. Daniel Adu Gyamfi who is currently on the 5th day of his working visit to Ghana,used the opportunity to established acquaintances and also congratulate the director on his new appointment.
Accompanying the chairman of GPO was a Chinese investor who expressed his utmost delight in being in the country and promised his consortium of companies will be willing to support and put into realization the dream of Daniel Adu Gyamfi of making the Tema port the 'Hong Kong'' of Africa.
The director of Tema port highlighted on the Ghana government's efforts at creating a workable environment to attract foreign direct investments.He also expressed the government's willingness to provide the serene and conducive atmosphere for such investments to flourish backed by appropriate legislations.
