Ghana People Organisation GPO condemns Xenophobic attacks in South Africa
In a statement issued over the weekend and signed by the chairman of Ghana People's Organisation(GPO),Daniel Adu-Gyamfi has condemned the recent happenings in South Africa as barbaric,inhuman and betrayal of the African community.
He further called on the international economic bodies to apply economic sanctions on the South African government for its lackadaisical attitude towards addressing xenophobia in that country.To the bereaved families and affected countries,he stressed the need for them to stay strong and united in these difficult times.
And tasked the South African Government to ensure that the perpetrators of these violent acts face justice in equal measure.
